Hello,
I need to upload a bootloader file to a Dallas RAMified Timekeeper IC. It is used in an oscilloscope.
While there are several Algorithms in the list, the number I am looking for is not.
DS1486 is the Dallas part number. Is there any similar Algorithm that can be used?

Is it possible to inadveratantly erase the manufacturer ID from a flash IC device? I thought that it is a protected area and can not be erased? I have several of the same number where they have been erased on a different programmer. It can be read only when you disable the ID check in options. Howev...
