Cant charge battery

My S4 just came back into the workshop from a period in storage, battery dead as suspected and now it wont recharge after trying the various reset methods.

Is it safe to say the battery pack needs to be replaced?

My serial number is 24xxx.

Pete,

Yep, sounds like you need a new battery pack. You will also find a small lithium cell in there which acts as a backup, this should be >=3v in circuit otherwise it is not doing its job. We also sell these should you need one.

I will check each, thanks for the help. Must I use NiCad for replacements as the main pack?

I would recomend that you use NiCads as the charging circuit and respective perameters are designed for them.
