Regarding the special registers, it really depends on the type of device we are talking about, are you able to reveal the full part name of the chip you are working with?

I can read and write it, but I do not see any function to read special options.

I could not find any mention of the Spansion part name "S25F512sagmfi01", perhaps it is the S25FL512S device? If yes, then the location of the special options are described in our software:
Of course, if the device has been protected then it is not possible to read the contents.
