v3.6 update says not a valid win32 application on Win XP

Hi,

Trying to update my application to v3.6 but i cant install it on windows XP as the installer just throws and error straight off saying this 'not a valid win32' application?? I thought winxp was still supported?

Anyone got an idea of whats going on?

Hello Jim,

I am not sure why you are seeing that error, v3.60 for the 40Pro works with all versions of MS Windows from Windows XP to Windows 10 (32-bit and 64-bit). Can you download it again as the download may be corrupt, please also try installing it on another PC/laptop and let me know the result?

Tried the download a few times. Will try another machine, but i have a dedicated rom programmer pc so need it to work with this one really. Other/Earlier versions to v3.34 have been ok upto now

Hello Jim,

Our engineers have informed me that this is a bug that was introduced into the installer in v3.60 and it was fixed in 3.60d.

The latest version v3.60z09 or later can be downloaded from our website here:

Yep that fixed the installation. I'm assuming this is a beta version as its got yesterdays date embedded into it and a new release version needs to be created ie v3.61? ie should i be checking back here for an updated version soon?
