Can I program PIC16F627A as PIC16F627 ?

Hello,
I'm using Dataman S4 with PIC adaptor for PIC16F627 devices without problem, now I'm trying to program PIC16F627A devices and the first time it works fine but in succesive programming sesions, some times, I got verify errors and the device become unusable. Then, for S4 is the same the PIC16F627 and Pic16F627A ?

This device is different form the non A version. I have requested samples and programming specs, we hope to have this device supported in the next release of the PIC library.
