Hello mjsmart,
The Microchip MPLAB oftware should allow you to compile your code into a HEX file format which can be loaded straight into any of our programmers and programmed onto your device.
We currently support the following file formats across our range of programmers:
unformatted (raw) binary
HEX: Intel, Intel EXT, Motorola S-record, MOS, Exormax, Tektronix, ASCII-SPACE-HEX,, ASCII HEX
Altera POF, JEDEC (ver. 3.0.A), eg. from ABEL, CUPL, PALASM, TANGO PLD, OrCAD PLD, PLD Designer ISDATA, etc.
JAM (JEDEC STAPL Format), JBC (Jam STAPL Byte Code), STAPL (STAPL File) JEDEC standard JESD-71
VME (ispVME file VME2.0/VME3.0)
SVF (Serial Vector Format revision E)
STP (Actel STAPL file)
If you have any problems with your PIKPro please do not hesitate to contact me directly using support@dataman.com or by posting your question on our forum.
Best regards,
