dear sir:
i am a new user for your dataman s4 (with serial no. 027626 )and i need to copy a 24c08 eeproms.
when i tried to download the lib hexs315.hex ,using the program s4WinDriver V2.03b, into s4 i got the SUM = 0033A802 when pressing grey sum key which is different from the sum no. exist in hexs315 datasheet ,could any one inform me why this . pls if there is any help file on using S4WinDriver V2.03b and how to download lib. from it into s4 tell me about it because i saw only a file on prog.S$WinDriver 1.1.0.8

The library file hexs31.hex has an offset of 8000h.
Once you have transfered the file to the S4 you can hit the GREY SUM key and change the address range to 08000,0FFFF. You will then get the correct sum. When burning this to a PROM you must hit BURN then specify 08000,0FFFF=00000 this will burn the file to the PROM starting at address 00000h in the PROM.

i would only like to inform you that the sum i got ,is after changing address range to 08000,0FFFF . Also i would like to say that i burn and test three of 24c08 that i need( in one of TV sets that using it )and it works successfuly althought the sum no. is different

The SUM you should get from the GREY SUM key is 2F8466 using the range 08000,0FFFF.
