S4 how do you use it

it's been a while since i have use the dataman. when you insert the eprom in the zif socket. what do you do then and what key pads to press?
i want to read the eprom

Hi
You can start off by trying an auto ID on the chip. FUNC>PROM. If this doest detect the device then you will have to select it manually by processing PROM and then using the cursor keys to navigate. Once you have the chip selected you can read it into the S4 RAM, LOAD. You can then transfer the code in the RAM onto a blank device or send it to your PC via the serial cable.

Is it possible to read/write 87LPC768 and MX10FMAXDPC 06FAX with S4 ? Which module
must be used ? tnx fer help

Neither of those parts can be programmed on the S4. They can however be programmed on the D48UXP programmer. For full details and pricing please check out our website.
