Can't reliably program SST29EE512-70

Using S4 to program 29EE512 chips from SST and Winbond. The SST -70 parts aren't pogramming properly, the -90 and Winbond parts are OK. I use func quick to ensure security is off. After erasing the -70 and doing test it says will burn, rather than blank. However programming usually fails.

Which version library do you have loaded in the S4?

That is a very old library. I would advise you to download the latest FLASH library from our website, the S4 8 bit (EEPROM/FLASH/NVRAM) lib. V1.13.
Please let me know if this does not solve the problem.
