hi
i have been off and on attempting to identify a proprietary chip which is attached to afew ecus that i work with. , from time to time i do attempt to look for it. i have asked the original manufacturer what it is but they are not really intrested as it is a obsolete chip...
i have one scrap ecu which can be butchered to ID the chip which is on the ecu , i was wondering if you have a option where i can attempt to ID it and read the chip? if necessary eventually via ISP , & with an appropriate zif module.
thanks

Re: trying to identify a obsolete chip
Hello,
Unfortunately this is not a feature that our programmers offer. In order to begin communication with a device you would need to select the matching algorithm in the software.
I would look at automotive forums as people usually manage to identify these custom devices.
