Programming 82S129 prom?
Hi All, I need to program some vintage 82S129 bi-polar proms and can't find a programmer capable of doing it now. I was wondering if I made an adaptor on overboard to 'fool' a programmer into thinking it was programming a modern eprom but am unsure of timing, algorithms etc. Any advice appreciated. ...

Re: Disaster struck
Hi Neil, I have followed your instructions to the letter but when it gets to 'start library' I press the enter button on the S4, there is a bleep but nothing happens.....The unit then locks up until it is turned off and the reset button pressed.
Not sure if my S4 is faulty

Multi ganged programmer wanted please.
Hi All, I am about to embark on a project where I will have to blow a large number of 27C512's and will need a bit more 'capacity' than my trusty old S4. My old Stag (are we allowed to swear? :) ) PP42 has 'given up the ghost'. To this end I am looking for an alternative......The bad news is I'm not...

Hi All, I have just attempted to program a 27C64 on my S4 and I have failed miserably :( I have only one line to edit in hex and send it to the prom i.e. OC 00 09 00 02 0C 03 00 in address 00. I can edit the file, send it back and forth to the pc etc but when I try and blow the prom it comes up with...
