Can anyone tell me how to read this soic 20 NEC device. It has the following numbers on it:-

Hello Andy,
These chips are either standard chips that are pre-programmed by the manufacturer of the car
electronics (and also marked differently for this purpose) or special chips, made by the manufacturer for this special purpose.
Basically, in this situation we have exactly the same resources as you: Internet search. From previous experience we have discovered that there is a very low chance of digging out usable or valid information on these devices. (I believe this is the manufacturers intention)
If you are able to provide the "real" NEC part number then we can help you.
