Unable to Transfer Files
I'm having problems transfering files to or from S4 and PC. Upon initiating file transfer nothing happens (no audible or visual feedback). Often S4 locks up with the 232 cable connected but corrects if the cable is disconnected. I've tried several different cables. Any suggestions?

Hi,
First you need to establish communication between the PC and S4. This is done by setting the baud rate on the S4 and S4 Driver software to the same value 9600 or 115200. If this is true when the S4 is cycled on and off the S4Driver software should echo the display of the S4 LCD.
The S4 must be set to receive the type of file you are working with HEX, BINARY or Motorola S. Hit the SETUP key on the S4 and using the left and right cursor keys select the file type, hit ESC to exit the menu.
From here you simply go to transfer > download > PC >S4 Select your file and hit open. The file will be transferred.
