Convert Dataman 48 Project (.prj) to 48Pro+ Project (.eprj)

Is there an easy / suggested method of doing this, or do I have to create the project from scratch?

Hello stusmith,

The Dataman-48/LV/XP/UXP and the Dataman-48Pro+/Pro2 are very different programmers and as such the project file formats are simply incompatible. We did look into creating a converter but this was not feasible given the way in which the different software stored the information.

It is possible to load both pieces of software onto your PC, load the old project files and use the SAVE option save-out the hex or binary data from the project which can then be loaded into the newer software where a new project file can be created.
